RECIPE: Power Balls
This recipe will give you a Reese’s pieces feel but with a keto punch. Made with just few ingredients this a great pre-workout snack.
2 cups of almond flour
½ cup peanut butter or nut butter of your
4 tbsp agave or liquid sweetener of your choice (optional)
2 tbsp cacao powder
¼ tsp cinnamon (optional)
¼ tsp vanilla extract (optional)
½ tbsp coconut oil (optional)
In a bowl combine the almond flour, peanut butter, and liquid sweetener in a bowl. Knead with your hand until it forms one large ball. Split the dough into two. With the first half make 2 inch balls this should yield about 10 balls. With the other half add the remaining ingredients mix well. Form a ball then flatten it. Add it around the balls from the first batch. Circle in your hands until it completely covers the ball. Do this with the remaining batter. Allow the balls to set in the fridge for 10 minutes and enjoy.
