RECIPE: Superfood Waffles

We are back at it again with another waffle recipe. This time we are featuring superfoods.  They are foods that are nutritionally dense.  Not only do they provide you with an abundance of vitamins and minerals. They also provide improved health, prevent disease, and often have anti-aging qualities. This recipe has 4 superfoods, cacao, shilajit, maca, and ashwagandha.

Cacao Powder is an antioxidant with health benefits ranging from reducing tiredness and fatigue to improving heart health, cognitive function, and regulating blood pressure.

Shilajit is a natural substance found mainly in the Himalayas, formed for centuries by the gradual decomposition of certain plants by the action of microorganisms. It is known for restoring energetic balance and prevents several diseases.

Ashwagandha is an adaptogen that supports the ability of an organism to cope with stress and thereby conserve energy. Ashwagandha rejuvenates and tonifies the entire system, especially the endocrine and immune systems.

Maca contributes to overall well-being, it can balance hormone levels, boost energy, and support a healthy libido.
