RECIPE: Vegan Peanut butter and Jelly High Protein Waffle

Ingredients Needed: 

1 cup flour 

2 Tablespoons coconut sugar

1  Tablespoons baking powder

1 serving vanilla protein powder

1/8 teaspoon salt

1 1/2 cups ripple  non-dairy milk

1 teaspoon vanilla

1  tablespoon coconut oil

1 tablespoon almond butter 

4 strawberries, chopped

Zest from lemon or lime


1. Heat up the waffle iron

2. Whisk together the dry ingredients. Add the wet ingredients and allow to rise for a few minutes while your waffle iron heats up.

3. Brush the waffle iron with a little oil. Put the batter in the waffle iron and cook according to the manufacturer's instructions. My waffle maker takes about 3-5 minutes warm

4. Serve waffles topped with almond butter, strawberries, and maple syrup or agave.
